Get into the Halloween spirit early with a free "Trunk-or-Treat" event at the Quincie Douglas Center, 1575 E. 36th St. on Friday, Oct. 13, from 6-8 p.m. Participants can visit locally sponsored "trunks" to receive either a trick or a treat and walk through the haunted house.
