Fitness Center Features

The fitness portion of this facility hosts a variety of aerobic, fitness and leisure education classes, free weights, machine weights and various cardiovascular machines.

The fitness center age restrictions are:
‍

13 and under: Not allowed
14 - 17: Allowed with a signed waiver by a parent or guardian - Child fee applies
18 and up: Adult fee applies‍

‍Classes

All aquatic classes, such as water exercise and swim lessons, require registration and an additional fee.

Youth Swim Lessons

All lessons are 30 minutes in length.

Lessons must meet minimum enrollment levels and will be cancelled one week prior to the start date if that level is not met.

Lesson ratios are 1:6 unless otherwise noted.

GROUP RESERVATIONS

McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center:

Available Monday - Thursday from 1 - 5 p.m., Friday - Sunday from 1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Pool hours are subject to change depending on specific pool availability.

All closures and program changes will be posted at the facility in advance. Please call ahead if you have questions.

What is Group Reservation?
‍

Group reservation is a process where groups pre-reserve dates at any of the two City of Scottsdale Aquatic Centers.

This is ideal for large groups, summer camps, or private organizations and payment is expected on the day of use.

Other Reminders
‍

All requests will be addressed on a first come first serve basis. Summer schedule starts June 5 - July 28.
The pool manager will determine availability for requested dates and times and your initial request may need to be altered due to maximum capacity requirements. The pool coordinator will determine maximum occupancy after receiving scheduling requests from all groups. You will receive a confirmation from the pool manager along with payment options.
Your requests should be limited to a maximum of three days per week and two hours per day. The pool manager must approve requests for dates and times exceeding these guidelines.‍

From there, you can create an account if you don't already have one, pick your desired location, date, make a payment, and get a contract all on the same day.

A pool manager will contact you 7 business days prior to your event to discuss specific details, if you are requesting additional guests, and answer any questions you may have.
